I have taken the concept of knit/felt one step farther. I felt my woven items!! Yep, you heard right…… Weave a wrap, poncho, purse, or scarf…… anything really, then felt it down in the washer the same way you would your knit items. (be sure to use wool for your warp and weft) The result is a soft fuzzy woven item! It makes such a difference! Even your scratchy items become soft enough to be put next to your skin. Uncarded handspun wool yarns make fabulous knit felt projects. If you are not careful, the skeins will start to felt together before you use them!
